The choice to study abroad can be both exciting and a bit daunting. You are asked to find the perfect program for you (and there are so many choices!) and to choose a new place to live!
The Office of Global Learning is available to help you learn more about study abroad opportunities, navigate the application process, and provide the necessary support to ensure students are prepared for international travel.
We're here to help you every step of the way. Before you know it, you’ll be stepping off a plane and on to another exciting adventure!
- Drop-in hours
If you have already met with our office, or you’re looking for general guidance on how to start thinking about study abroad, or you have a question that you feel does not require the detailed attention of an individual advising appointment, you can use our drop-in advising hours for guidance.
Visit us in Caldwell Hall 300 Monday to Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. while semester classes are in session. There are no summer walk-in hours.
- Scheduling an appointment
Individual advising appointments are preferred for students who have in-depth questions that require more discussion time—such as comparing programs or gaining deeper knowledge of one particular program.
Appointments must be scheduled via our online appointment request tool using the link below each advisor’s name.
Note: In the message box of your appointment request, please include the following information so that we may effectively assist you: 1. College and your (intended) Major 2. What program characteristics you are seeking: specific subject/discipline for study, language study, internship, or research 3. When you would like to study abroad 4. Where you would like to study abroad. 5. Reason for appointment
Meet The Advisors
We have compiled a list of students who have returned from their time abroad—and who are willing to be contacted by students who are considering programs. Reach out to them. You’ll see how many will passionately encourage you to study abroad.
