Here's what Ito, a Global Learning ambassador, has to say about her experience:
Hi there! I’m a senior enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration with a minor in Spanish. Last spring, I studied abroad in Seville, Spain with the CASA-Seville program. During my time abroad, I lived with a host family, took classes in Spanish at the University of Seville, volunteered with the blind, and joined an international student language exchange. I value my experience studying abroad because of the challenges I faced, adaptive skills that I learned, and the friends I made along the way! I was also surprised by how comfortable I felt in a foreign country by the end of my study abroad experience. I encourage you to consider studying abroad during your time at Cornell; it was the best thing I could do for myself! Feel free to reach out to me regarding any questions you may have about getting started!
