Brandon's passion for travel and learning abroad was sparked at an early age by the work of photojournalist Dan Eldon, and he has been traveling and helping others connect to global cultures ever since. As an undergraduate, he studied abroad in West Africa at University of Ghana - Legon for a year as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, and completed his Senior Capstone project in Nicaragua. Brandon has previously worked at the Portland State University International Students office and in the Boston University Study Abroad office, and also taught English in Sapporo, Japan with the JET Program. Before coming to Cornell, he worked for a Boston-area software company that manages workplace giving and corporate grants programs for Fortune 500 companies. He holds a BA in International Studies with a minor in African Studies from Portland State University, a MSc in Economic Development and Tourism Management from Boston University, and has also studied at the London School of Economics in Beijing, China and the Harvard Extension School.
