Where is Cornell located?
Cornell is in Ithaca, New York. Ithaca is located in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York, at the tip of Cayuga Lake. Note that Ithaca is in New York State, not New York City! In fact, Cornell is about five hours away from NYC! Ithaca is home to 30,000 residents and another 30,000 students at Cornell and Ithaca College.
What is a visiting student?
A visiting student is someone who wants to take classes at Cornell while enrolled at another institution. You are also a visiting student if you recently graduated with your bachelor’s degree and are taking additional classes to prepare for graduate study or your career.
